About Us

When we decided to open a restaurant, we knew we wanted to do so in a village or town where we could become part of the local community, where we would come to know our customers by name, where we would live and bring up our children. Osso Buco was opened in October 2011 and so far the journey has been amazing.

Our regular customers are now like friends. They stop by in the morning for an espresso, to discuss local issues, to bring us homemade cakes, to ask for a recipe, to suggest a wine, to lend us a book, to give us a leaflet for something we've discussed, or simply to say hello and have a chat.

To us, Osso Buco is more than just a business; it's a way of life. The chaos of a husband and wife working together, the absence of a head office telling us what to do. Just us, with our wish to make customers happy and to make a living doing what we love.

We have been very lucky with our staff too; most of them have been with us from the beginning. Over the years, we have had the pleasure of getting to know entire families and watching their children grow up. When they come in, there is an abundance of hugs and endless questions about the whereabouts of their favourite waiter or waitress, should they happen to have a day off that day!

To all our customers - a big thank you for making us what we are today. To our new customers - we look forward to welcoming you to Osso Buco soon.
